1. Data we collect

Pregora is built so that the calculations you run happen entirely in your browser. We do not transmit, log, or store the values you enter into our calculators (such as weight, height, or dates).

Our hosting provider may automatically log standard server access information (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and uptime monitoring. These logs are retained for a limited period and not used to identify individuals.

2. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which pages are popular and how visitors navigate the site. GA4 sets cookies (such as _ga, _ga_*) on your device to measure unique visitors and session activity.

GA4 is configured with Google Consent Mode v2 — by default, analytics and advertising cookies are denied until you explicitly accept via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you reject or ignore the banner, no tracking cookies are set and no personal data is sent to Google.

GA4 collects: page URL, referrer, anonymised IP address, device type, browser, country, and engagement metrics (time on page, scroll depth). It does not collect: your name, email, calculator inputs (dates, weight, height), or any personally identifiable information.

You can opt out at any time by:

• Clicking Reject in our cookie banner (clears existing GA cookies and disables future tracking)
• Installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
• Clearing cookies for https://pregora.com in your browser settings

GA4 data is retained for 14 months, after which individual user data is automatically deleted. Aggregate (non-personal) data may be retained longer for trend analysis.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

Pregora may display advertisements via Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.

4. Third-party links

Our content may link to external sites (medical journals, government health resources). We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

5. Children's privacy

Pregora is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy as our site evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
